Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about the free tool. Questions about curriculum codes, state syllabuses and our teaching approach are on the curriculum FAQ.

Getting started

Is it free? Do I need an account?

The lesson builder and offline lesson bank are free and need no account.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Once you've opened the free tool with a connection, the lesson bank keeps working offline on that device.

My period is 50 minutes (or 55, or 70). Which length should I pick?

Pick the closest shorter length. Every lesson tells you what to cut first if time runs short and what to add if you have more, so a 45-minute lesson stretches to a 50-minute period without padding.

Can I use it to home educate?

Yes. Lessons write out the explanation and worked examples, and the routines work with a small group. Lessons are anchored to AC v9, which most states accept as a reference for covering the learning areas. In NSW, check against the NSW syllabus.

Students, privacy and AI

Do you collect student information?

No. Don't enter student names or details anywhere. In the free tool, your lesson stays in your browser and is never sent to us. Privacy policy

Can I use the AI my school already approves?

Yes. The free tool builds a prompt you paste into your school-approved AI, then turns the response into a print-ready lesson. Don't include student names, diagnoses or plan details in the prompt.

Adapting lessons for your class

Does it support students with disability?

You can switch on class-wide access needs, grouped the way Australian schools group them, and the lesson builds the changes into every block. If a student has documented adjustments from their school, follow those first. The options never identify or record a student. Access needs and inclusion

Is “written, digital, verbal” about learning styles?

No. It describes the room you're teaching in (whether there's tech, paper or a need for quiet), not how students learn.
